Shamin Hotels in Glen Allen, VA is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team. You will schedule room cleanings, inspect rooms and public areas, and provide coaching to attendants to uphold cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction.

The role reports to the General Manager and includes training staff, enforcing safety, and coordinating with maintenance. A full-time, hourly position offers competitive pay and benefits as described.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Mansioni

• Schedule room and cleaning assignments to ensure coverage.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and repair.
• Provide feedback to room attendants to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ensure staff have supplies, equipment, and uniforms including PPE and nametags.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce them.
• Investigate accidents and implement preventive steps.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed (beds, vacuuming, cleaning).
• Monitor room status and update discrepancies during shift.
• Handle opening and closing shift duties and nightly workloads.
• Notify maintenance of repairs required and coordinate with teams.
