Cedar Creek Lodge in Columbia Falls, Montana, operated by Xanterra, is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping and laundry teams. The role ensures clean facilities, guest comfort, and top service quality in a busy lodge setting.

Position is full-time and year-round with immediate start; pay is $19.45 per hour plus tips, typical 40-hour week, with varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Working knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and chemical use (Ecolab experience preferred).
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, prioritize tasks, and monitor team performance to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer-focused mindset with a friendly, professional approach when interacting with guests and coworkers.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of housekeeping and laundry teams, including scheduling and shift coverage.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and stocking meet company standards.
• Perform room cleaning, public-area cleaning, and laundry processing as needed to support daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
• Report unusual guest conduct to the Location Manager or Manager on Duty.
• Ensure Lost & Found and key security procedures are followed.
• Coach and develop staff through ongoing feedback and training; partner with the Location Manager on performance documentation, reviews, and corrective action as needed.
• Manage supply and linen inventories, including tracking usage and ensuring items are reordered and stocked as needed.
• Coordinate and assist with periodic deep cleaning and preventative maintenance projects.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally; communicate with the Location Manager and department supervisors to ensure timely resolution.
• Complete required training and certifications; cross-train in other departments as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Location Manager.
