Urschel Development is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Manager for the Grand Gardner Hotel in Valparaiso, Indiana. The role leads housekeeping operations across guest rooms, public spaces and laundry, ensuring high cleanliness standards and a seamless guest experience in a boutique property.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong communication and time-management skills, capable of coordinating across Front Desk, Maintenance and Sales teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hospitality leadership or housekeeping management experience.
• Organized, dependable and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel PMS such as Cloudbeds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of housekeeping department including guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces and laundry.
• Lead housekeeping team members, coordinate staffing and room assignments.
• Manage supplies, inventory and department expenses; partner with Front Office, Maintenance and Sales.
