Viceroy Hotels in Santa Monica is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to oversee day-to-day Housekeeping operations—opening the house, assigning rooms and floors to Housemen, inspecting rooms, preparing VIPs, and closing the house daily.

You will lead safety compliance, budgeting, staff scheduling, and inventory control for linens and supplies, ensuring top guest satisfaction through proactive service and meticulous cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer relations, communication, presentation and organization skills.
• Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks.
• Must be outgoing and a proven self-starter.
• Weekends and Holidays may be required as business needs warrant.

Responsibilities

• The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Housekeeping - opening the house, assigning rooms, assigning floors to Housemen, ensuring that all rooms are inspected, VIPs are prepared, and the house is closed daily.
• General Responsibilities Include: Ensure that appropriate safety regulations and procedures are adhered to.
• Monitor and evaluate the department’s financial positioning, such as budgets, cost control, labor expense.
• Schedule employees in accordance with the forecasted occupancy.
• Knowledgeable of the latest industry equipment, technology, and techniques.
