Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee daily operations of designated housekeeping areas, supervise staff, conduct inspections of rooms and public spaces, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with the ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of relevant housekeeping supervisory experience.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure smooth operation of assigned area.
• Supervise, train, direct, and assist staff.
• Distribute workload fairly and evenly to those assigned to the station.
• Conduct daily room inspections in accordance with department standards.
• Monitor productivity and communicate issues to the Executive Assistant Housekeeper.
• Counsel and discipline employees per policies and provide regular feedback.
