Job summary

Lightwell Hotel & Spa in Hood River is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector / Lead to guide the floor, conduct thorough quality-control inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and spa areas, and partner with management to deliver impeccable stays.

You will open the department, prioritize room turns, mentor attendants, provide real-time feedback, and track inventory while keeping communication with Front Desk.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, or luxury setting.
• Experience as a supervisor, lead, or inspector preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and guest-satisfaction focus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed daily inspections of departed, stayover, public areas, and spa facilities.
• Open the department daily and prioritize room turn order based on arrivals.
• Provide real-time feedback, training, and mentorship to the housekeeping team.
• Track linen, amenities, and inventory; assist with stock and laundry operations.
• Maintain clear Front Desk communication and log maintenance issues in the system.
• Step in to assist with rooms, laundry, or public spaces during peak times.
