Job summary

The Lightwell Hotel and Spa in Hood River is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector / Lead to uphold our high standards of cleanliness across guest rooms, public spaces, and spa areas. You will lead by example on the floor, conduct thorough quality-control inspections, and coordinate daily room assignments with the Front Desk.

In this role you will mentor room attendants, provide training, and partner with management to ensure seamless guest stays even during peak times, while maintaining inventory

Qualifications

• 2+ years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort, or luxury setting.
• Lead or inspector experience preferred and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication and ability to coach a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed daily inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and spa areas.
• Open the department daily and prioritize room turn order based on schedules.
• Mentor and train room attendants to improve cleaning efficiency and consistency.
• Track inventory levels and assist with supply management and laundry operations.
• Communicate room status with Front Desk and log issues in the property system.
• Step in to assist with cleaning during peak times or short-staffed shifts.
