Job summary

InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown is seeking a qualified Housekeeping Manager to uphold our high standards and deliver memorable guest experiences. You will lead all housekeeping operations, coach your team, and ensure consistently spotless rooms and public areas.

The role requires 2–3 years in Rooms Division with supervisory experience and strong time management. English fluency is essential (Spanish preferred).

Qualifications

• 2–3 years total experience in Rooms Division position with proven training and team building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; works well under pressure.
• Results-oriented and able to make decisions and empower colleagues to ensure that they are exceeding guest expectations.
• Must speak fluent English (Spanish also preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team dedicated to exceptional housekeeping standards.
• Maintain and order supplies and equipment – while minimizing waste – in support of our green initiatives.
• Assist with weekly schedules for the department and processing payroll.
• Address guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper departments as required.
• Educating all colleagues on the importance of remaining compliant with federal, state, and local laws and safety standards.
