Job summary

First Chair Destinations is seeking a Lead Housekeeper in the Augusta area to guide a team of housekeepers, schedule shifts, and ensure top quality cleaning and guest readiness across vacation properties.

You’ll perform hands-on cleaning and inspections while supporting managers, fostering collaboration, and maintaining high standards in a dynamic hospitality environment. Weekend availability and travel between local worksites are common aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in housekeeping or similar role.
• Prior supervisory/management experience in hospitality.
• Comfortable using digital systems, apps, and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and staff scheduling.
• Inspect cleans and support touch-ups to meet standards.
• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of housekeepers.
• Maintain open communication and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure properties are cleaned to company procedures and safety standards.
