Job summary

First Chair Destinations is seeking a Lead Housekeeper to lead a team of housekeepers, schedule shifts, and ensure top quality service across properties. You will participate in hands-on cleaning and inspections to uphold our high standards.

The role requires 1–2 years in housekeeping, supervisory experience, and tech-savvy use of digital systems. Expect 30–40 hour weeks with potential weekend/holiday requirements and travel between local worksites.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, hospitality or vacation industry.
• 1–2 years in housekeeping or similar role.
• Supervisory or management experience in related field.
• Tech-savvy with mobile apps and digital systems.
• Frequent travel between worksites; reliable transportation.
• Dependable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to optimize team productivity and quality.
• Inspect cleans and support touch-up tasks as needed.
• Supervise housekeeping staff and ensure training and policy adherence.
• Foster a collaborative environment and resolve conflicts.
• Maintain property cleanliness per company standards.
• Handle scheduling, supplies, and budget adherence.
• Meet standards like NPS and unit appearance.
• Assist with budget planning and cost analyses.
• Address guest/homeowner concerns via email, calls, tickets.
• Coordinate with Business Development when new units join.
• Conduct regular inspections before guest/owner arrivals.
• Maintain relationships with regional and management teams.
• Provide cross-coverage for manager and Co-Leads.
• Other duties as assigned.
