Job summary

Hyatt Regency Irvine seeks an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping area, including public spaces and night cleaning, ensuring safety and high standards.

You will manage supplies and par levels, supervise staff, and coordinate with other departments to deliver exceptional service for guests, VIPs and dignitaries. This role rewards attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to train and develop a dedicated team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
• 2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience
• Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
• Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
• Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the entire housekeeping area, including public areas and night cleaning.
• Ensure understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars and that safety policies are followed.
• Provide staff training, development and scheduling as needed.
• Promote an atmosphere of customer and associate satisfaction.
• Report to the Executive Housekeeper and coordinate with other departments and guests.
