Job summary

Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead the hotel’s engineering team and ensure all systems run reliably, cost-control is maintained, and guest comfort is maximized. You will supervise maintenance, coordinate safety drills, handle guest repair requests, and safeguard sensitive areas while upholding company standards across the property in downtown Lancaster.

The role requires supervisory experience, applicable HVAC/electrical certifications, and the ability to plan

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hotel engineering with supervisory responsibilities.
• HVAC, pool, electrical certifications or licenses as required.
• Ability to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Marvel: keep rooms and public spaces in top condition and aligned with standards.
• Team Captain: lead, train, and schedule the engineering staff.
• Safety Superhero: perform fire safety inspections and drills.
• Guest Service Star: respond to maintenance requests to boost guest satisfaction.
• Property Guardian: patrol grounds and manage lost-and-found, debris, and safety.
