Job summary

Lancaster Campus seeks an Experienced Residential Building Engineer to maintain and improve our college housing properties. You will lead maintenance teams, supervise contractors, and ensure safety and efficient operations across the site.

The role requires HVAC and electrical certifications, a valid driver’s license, and strong customer service and communication skills to keep tenants satisfied and properties compliant.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma and HVAC certification.
• Electrical certification for commercial/residential work required.
• Universal certification to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred and strongly valued.
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of property facilities.
• Schedule capital improvement projects and oversee bids.
• Repair appliances and boiler systems; supervise technicians.
• Ensure payroll accuracy for maintenance staff and safety compliance.
• Maintain tenant relations and respond to issues promptly.
• Manage night and weekend maintenance staff and contractors.
