HMSHost in Dallas is seeking a Host/Hostess - Lead to greet guests and seat them before introductions to servers. You may perform tasks such as ringing orders, refilling beverages, setting tables, and basic cleaning in a restaurant environment.

This non-exempt role typically reports to the Store Manager. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, managing seating, coordinating with kitchen and floor staff, handling cashier duties, and ensuring dining room readiness for service.

Formación

• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Ability to read and interpret restaurant seating charts.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing demeanor.
• Ability to stand, bend and work for extended periods.
• Excellent communication with customers and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Welcomes guests at the entrance and seats them per standards.
• Records reservations and seating times accurately.
• Maintains and updates dining room seating charts.
• Sets up and maintains dining room before service.
• Assists with stocking roll-up silverware for shifts.
• Advises guests on menus and beverages.
• Oversees food/beverage delivery and service.
• Liaises between kitchen and floor staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Performs cashier or bus duties to speed service.
• Follows cash handling policies and secures cash.
• Patrols station, refills drinks, clears items per procedures.
• Performs other duties during downtime (roll silverware, prep for To-go, dishes, condiments).
