Job summary

The Hampton Social - Dallas is seeking a Lead Host to be the first and last contact for guests, delivering a polished and organized hospitality experience. You will coordinate reservations, guide large parties, and train new hosts to uphold brand standards in a fast-paced setting.

As a key team leader, you will communicate guest needs to management and BOH, manage peak periods, and maintain guest relationships with professionalism. This role is part-time and on-site in Dallas, TX.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant area.
• Must possess leadership skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of hospitality experience.
• College degree preferred; hotel/restaurant management education desirable.
• Proficient in service standards, staffing and employee management.
• Able to multitask and delegate duties when necessary.
• Able to stay calm and organized in a high-volume environment.
• Additional language skills would be advantageous.
• Experience with OpenTable/Reserve.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage reservations, walk-ins and private event seatings.
• Strategize with management on large party seating and placement.
• Note dietary and physical restrictions and communicate them to the team.
• Maintain communication with management and back-of-house during peak periods.
• Communicate delays and waits to guests in a professional manner.
• Represent host stand during pre-shift and relay important information to the team.
• Lead the host stand, train and develop hosts, delegating duties as needed.
• Ensure events are entered in OpenTable with shift notes and guest notes.
