The Yacht Club, a waterfront dining venue atop Chelsea's Starrett Lehigh building, seeks a Lead Host to set the guest experience tone and lead front-of-house operations.

This part-time role requires nights and weekends, with opportunities to mentor junior crew, manage Resy reservations, and collaborate with management to maximize seating and guest satisfaction while earning industry-leading tips.

Qualifications

• The Lead Host must manage front-of-house operations in a high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to work nights and weekends and handle a variable schedule.
• Strong verbal communication and guest-service orientation are essential.
• Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Set the tone for guest experience through front-door operations.
• Lead the Front Door team and mentor junior crew members.
• Monitor daily reservations via Resy and liaise with Guest Services.
• Maintain an accurate wait list during peak service periods.
• Greet and seat guests with energy, enthusiasm, and hospitality.
• Ensure cleanliness and uniform standards per policy.
