Bayshore Club in Coconut Grove is seeking a Lead Host to join a world-class restaurant team. You will greet guests, assist with reservations, guide them to tables, and provide menus while answering initial questions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in hospitality.
• Positive attitude and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills and phone etiquette.

• OpenTable experience required.
• Strong OpenTable background with full availability.
• Hostess experience with large restaurants (300+ seats) is a plus.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
• Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table
• Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area
• Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
• Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for wait staff
• Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties
