Glass & Vine is seeking a Host to join our beautiful outdoor venue in Coconut Grove. We pride ourselves on warm hospitality and a seasonal menu, offering a relaxed yet refined guest experience.

We’re looking for upbeat, guest-first personalities to join our front-of-house team and help deliver the excellent service our guests expect. Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations, and seating guests efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in hospitality preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Positive attitude and interpersonal skills required.
• Good communication and phone etiquette.
• Flexibility with alternating shifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant.
• Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table.
• Providing accurate wait time estimates and seating guests in the waiting area.
• Providing menus and answering initial questions.
• Optimizing seating to balance workload among wait staff.
• Answering phones and scheduling reservations for large parties.

Glass & Vine is an upscale outdoor dining venue known for its warm hospitality, beautifully landscaped setting, and seasonal menu. We create relaxed yet refined experiences for guests—perfect for date nights, special occasions, and weekend gatherings. We’re looking for upbeat, guest-first personalities to join our front-of-house team and help deliver the excellent service our guests expect.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
• Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table
• Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting areaProviding customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
• Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for wait staff
• Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties

Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Prior customer service experience in the hospitality industry
• Positive attitude and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills and phone etiquette
• Flexibility when working alternating shifts
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• OpenTable Experience (Preferred)
