Job summary

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of environmental services experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read and follow written instructions in English.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in writing and orally.
• Ability to read and write information in English regarding duties and policies.
• Ability to operate alphanumeric pager and telephone.
• Customer service skills to interact with patients, families, visitors and staff.
• 2–4 years of environmental services experience.
• Able to work independently and safely with tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental Service Aide oversees housekeeping tasks and ensures quality across the department.
• Provide timely, courteous, and competent services in a safe manner for patients, visitors and staff.
• Accept additional assignments to support service excellence.
• May receive guidance from the Nursing Department as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
