Job summary

DoorDash is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Discovery Experience team, owning the Homepage across iOS, Android, and Web. You will steer both product direction and technical execution, partnering with Design, Data Science, and ML/Recommendation Platform teams to deliver high-impact, personalized discovery experiences.

You will grow a product-focused team, shape the roadmap, and ensure a fast, reliable storefront that drives conversion and order rate for millions of users.

Qualifications

• 7+ years industry experience including at least 2 years in management.
• Experience leading BE + Android + iOS + Web engineering disciplines.
• Strong product sense and ability to partner with cross-functional peers.
• Hands-on with non-technical stakeholders and scalable product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of product-focused full-stack engineers.
• Own product and technical direction for the discovery surface from roadmap to delivery.
• Define discovery quality and ensure right content surfaces for users at scale.
• Ship generative, intent-aware discovery using real-time signals and LLMs.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science and ML/Recommendation Platform teams.
• Coach engineers and scale the org while maintaining reliability and performance.
• Architect backend systems and APIs for fast, personalized Homepage across platforms.
