Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Lead Staffing Specialist to orchestrate caregiver scheduling and dispatch across our home care teams. You’ll balance workloads, coordinate hundreds of daily appointments, and ensure client care plans are followed with accuracy.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in staffing or dispatch, 60 college credits or supervisory experience, and strong communication skills. This full-time role includes weekend/on-call rotations and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-like qualification: 60 college hours or 2+ years supervisory experience in healthcare or service environment.
• Experience in staffing, scheduling, or dispatching is required with healthcare/home care context preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily scheduling and dispatching: coordinate hundreds of caregiver appointments with precision.
• Manage last-minute changes: handle cancellations and emergency coverage quickly and professionally.
• Optimize staffing operations: track caregiver availability, balance workloads and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with field operations, HR and recruiting to identify trends and fill gaps.
• Train and mentor dispatch staff; communicate schedule updates clearly to caregivers.
• Maintain records, ensure compliance and uphold company values.
