Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Greenspring location in Springfield, VA seeks an Home Care RN to lead and deliver personalized nursing care for residents living at home within a premier senior living community.

You will develop and oversee individualized care plans, monitor health, collaborate with physicians and families, and guide a team including LPNs, aides, and companions to ensure high-quality service daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Experience caring for seniors and/or cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and web applications.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ needs and develop and implement a service plan with input from resident, family and physician.
• Communicate any changes in the resident’s condition.
• Ensure that the resident’s plan is followed by the Home Support agency team.
• Deliver nursing care as outlined in the plan of care.
• Participate in care conferences and related meetings.
• Assist in orientation and training of agency nurses and aides.
