Job summary

Withum seeks a High Net Worth Tax Manager to lead tax engagements across multiple offices including Whippany, NJ and other major CA/NY locations. You will supervise staff, mentor teammates, and build client relationships while delivering accurate, timely tax reporting and planning strategies.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in public accounting tax, CPA/JD/MS in Taxation, and strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Travel may be required as client needs arise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license, JD or Masters of Science in Taxation required.
• 5+ years in public accounting tax with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Review tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations for accuracy.
• Research and draft memos on complex tax matters.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities and strategies.
• Supervise staff and manage multiple engagements.
• Lead client relationships and provide guidance to team members.
