Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Illinois seeks a Senior HIL/SIL Test Engineer to develop and automate Python test scripts, lead testing activities with an offshore team, and define SIL/HIL boundaries and priorities.

Configure and execute HIL tests using dSPACE and Opal-RT, review test cases and reports, perform bench testing, analyze results, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating onshore and offshore communication.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of HIL/SIL testing experience.
• Strong Python test automation experience.
• Hands-on dSPACE and Opal-RT experience.
• Embedded systems/software testing and V&V knowledge.
• Ability to read hardware schematics and understand I/O connections.
• Experience in automotive, off-highway, heavy machinery, or industrial controls.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
