Job summary
The Department of Transportation in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Transportation Construct Technician 4 to lead field inspection, coordinate highway maintenance projects, and oversee all contract activities. You will ensure compliance with plans and specifications, train staff, and review pay quantities and change orders.
Qualifications include four years of highway inspection experience or a related engineering technology degree, and a valid Arizona driver license.
Qualifications
- Four years of highway construction or maintenance (operations) experience in inspection and documentation, or a bachelor degree in engineering technology or closely related profession.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, documentation and testing as required for assigned projects.
- Develop work schedules and assign and direct personnel to meet overall expectations.
- Review calculations, test results and documentations for assignments and approve for payment.
- Prepare project related documentation to ensure conformance with laws, rules and standards.
