Job summary

MBP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide owner’s representative guidance in a higher education environment, assisting with design, construction and turnover for academic, medical, laboratory, research, and campus infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will manage the project’s scope, budget and schedule; coordinate designers, contractors and owner personnel; preparing update reports to verify goals are met and communicated to the client.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of related experience in project controls, schedule management and construction management.
• Experience with higher education, healthcare, laboratories and campus infrastructure projects preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage client communications on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project scope, schedule and budget for owner’s representative role.
• Coordinate designers, contractors, and owner personnel to deliver projects.
• Prepare and present reports verifying goals are met and communicated to the client.
• Lead client meetings and act as primary project contact for decision making.
• Review invoices, change orders and vendor proposals with owner approvals.
