Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in New Haven, CT is seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver one or more concurrent construction projects from start to finish on time and within budget.

You will build strong client relationships, coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants, and ensure project goals align with financial and scheduling constraints while applying standard PM practices and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the building design / construction, architecture, and/or engineering field.
• Prior experience with Higher Education preferred.
• Knowledge of permitting and zoning laws.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as building codes and contract law.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or more concurrent construction projects from start to finish - on time and on budget.
• Build strong client relationships and bring the right people together to develop innovative ideas and solutions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the project management process and manage the dynamics with architects, engineers, and other consultants.
• Ensure client goals are met within financial and schedule parameters for multiple stakeholders.
• Review project documents, budgets, schedules, and proposals for conformance to goals and value engineering.
