Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in the United States is seeking a Project Manager for High Voltage Services to lead complex HV service projects from initiation to completion, developing plans for scope, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.

As the primary customer contact, you will provide updates, manage risks and finances, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and deliver final documentation. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience focused on high voltage power systems, substations, or transmission and distribution networks.
• PMP or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate engineers, technicians, and subcontractors for clear communication and efficient workflows.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, provide updates, manage expectations, and resolve concerns.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and meet financial targets.
• Maintain project quality and compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports, stakeholder updates, and final project documentation.
• Conduct post-project reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
