Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager for High Voltage Services in the United States to lead projects from initiation to completion. You will develop plans, coordinate engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, and act as the primary customer contact to provide updates and resolve concerns.

You will monitor progress, manage risks and finances, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and prepare documentation for stakeholders. Travel to project sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience focused on high voltage power systems, substations, or transmission and distribution networks.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to support clear communication and efficient workflows.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, provide progress updates, manage expectations, and resolve concerns.
• Monitor delivery, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and meet financial targets.
• Maintain project quality and compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports, stakeholder updates, and final project documentation.
• Conduct post-project reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
