Cadence Design Systems in San Jose, CA is seeking a Numerical Modeling & Architecture expert to guide transceiver component selection using mathematical and computer modelling techniques.

The role collaborates with analog and digital designers, applications engineers and marketing to balance tradeoffs, and to perform lab characterization and end-to-end system analysis in a full-time on-site role.

Formación

• The ideal candidate will have several of the listed engineering-system skills.
• PhD in mathematical or physical sciences is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated capacity to self-educate and adapt to new fields.

Responsabilidades

• Guide selection and specification of transceiver components using mathematical and computer modelling techniques.
• Collaborate with analog, digital, applications engineers, and marketing to trade off conflicting design goals.
• Involve in lab characterization and analysis of realized designs.
