Job summary

KIK Consumer Products in Westlake, LA is seeking a Lead Press Operator for the 2nd shift (1:00 pm – 9:30 pm, Mon–Fri with some weekends). Operate high-speed tablet press equipment, ensure quality, safety, and accurate documentation in a GMP environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in tablet/pill press operations or regulated manufacturing. Overtime, weekend work, and shift differentials apply. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience as an operator in manufacturing or production.
• Experience with tablet or pill presses and regulated environments.
• Experience with filling lines or powder processing is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and production records.
• Must pass pre-employment requirements including a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed tablet press equipment for scheduled production runs.
• Monitor output against spec and address drift.
• Coordinate with Forklift Operator for material handling.
• Complete production, quality, material weights, usage data, and inventory records.
• Troubleshoot equipment and escalate as needed.
• Follow GMP, PPE, lockout/tagout, and safety procedures.
• Support safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist other Operators as needed and perform additional duties.
