Job summary

PurposeBuilt Brands seeks a Compression Lead to oversee daily compression operations, ensuring safe and efficient production of tablet products. You will lead floor activities, operate presses, perform changeovers, and coordinate scheduling to meet production needs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of compression experience, strong troubleshooting skills, GMP knowledge, and the ability to train and mentor operators while driving productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of tablet compression experience in pharma/nutraceutical/manufacturing.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting multiple compression platforms.
• Experience leading/training operators preferred.
• Experience with root cause investigations and process improvements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily compression room activities.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot compression equipment.
• Perform machine changeovers, set-ups, and cleaning verifications.
• Operate multiple tablet presses as production demands require.
• Verify materials against batch records and BOM.
• Perform weigh-ups independently and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain continual machine operation to maximize production output.
• Monitor tablet quality and ensure compliance with in-process specs.
• Serve as primary floor leader in Compression/Blending in absence of a supervisor.
• Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and compliance.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and ownership of department performance.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
