Job summary

IDEX Health & Science LLC. is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the Systems on A-Shift in West Henrietta, NY. The role leads production processes, materials, equipment, and staffing for high-precision optics manufacturing, with a focus on Lean and CI initiatives.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of supervisory experience and a technical degree. JD Edwards ERP experience and cross-functional collaboration are preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical degree preferred
• At least two years of supervisory experience
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
• Manufacturing experience in a low volume high mix environment
• Production Planning experience desirable
• Experience with ERP systems, especially JD Edwards
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to all functions of the Production process, Materials, Equipment and Staffing Assignment activities for the LSO Systems value streams.
• Lead daily manufacturing meetings and develop clear communication tools to advance employee engagement.
• Develop focus and direction promoting a unified team approach.
• Participate in CI projects and drive team actions to achieve process improvements.
• Support CI workshops and communicate results through daily management metrics.
