Job summary

Build People in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-end residential and commercial construction projects. You will drive preconstruction through closeout, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction PM, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in contract controls.

Qualifications

8+ years of construction project management experience.
Experience managing commercial and/or high-end residential construction projects.
Strong understanding of contracts, budgets, scheduling, procurement, and project controls.
Experience managing projects through the full construction lifecycle.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Procore experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Manage projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Review contracts, plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation.
Monitor project costs, commitments, and overall financial performance.
Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
Identify potential schedule, cost, and scope issues and develop solutions proactively.
Work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate field operations and project priorities.
Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure contractual requirements are met.
Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Oversee project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and turnover.
