Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader, providing hands-on resident care while guiding the caregiving team. This role emphasizes professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service to uphold our quality of life mission for seniors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with ISP.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.

Pay Range: 19.75 - 24.75
