Job summary

Amentum in Andrews, MD is seeking a Rotary Production Supervisor to oversee helicopter maintenance for classified HQ USAF operations, ensuring mission-ready aircraft for high‑level transport missions.

Responsibilities include supervising 22 UH-1N helicopters around the clock, coordinating with maintenance and staff agencies, and ensuring safety and compliance with Air Force regulations. Must be able to obtain a secret clearance and work various shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years as Expeditor and/or Production Superintendent.
• Exceptional communication skills, leadership abilities, and personnel management.
• In-depth knowledge of Air Force regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 22 UH-1N helicopters.
• Monitor daily flying schedule to meet operational requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance organizations and staff agencies.
• Responsible for overall helicopter generation and mission readiness.
• Ensure maintenance is conducted safely IAW instructions and directives.
• Serve as the aircrew’s point of contact for maintenance matters.
• Complete employee performance reviews.
