Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Production Control/Aviation Maintenance Supervisor (Army Rotary Wing) to lead organizational level maintenance on assigned aircraft. You will supervise maintenance staff, plan work, ensure safety, and coordinate with engineering and customers.

The role requires extensive Army aviation maintenance experience, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. FAA licensing and MS Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of aviation maintenance experience, with three (3) years of US Army aviation maintenance experience.
• Five (5) years of supervisory experience with two (2) years of Army aviation maintenance supervisory experience.
• Ability to plan and schedule maintenance work requirements and to direct skilled technicians in the daily performance of their duties.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and company requirements.
• Knowledge of safe working techniques and procedures.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance, NAC-I T1 Public Trust; US Citizenship is required to obtain a T1/CAC NACI Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of aircraft maintenance and ensure work is scheduled and performed safely and efficiently.
• Supervise maintenance staff, review performance, address personnel issues, generate assignments, and set priorities.
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, servicing, launch and recovery, corrosion control, and inspections.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins to determine repair methods.
• Provide guidance on technical orders, checklists, and hazardous materials.
• Maintain equipment maintenance schedules and monitor parts and inventories.
• Ensure availability of materials and reordering as needed.
• Provide training on equipment per OSHA and monitor annual training requirements.
• May supervise aircraft/equipment movement and perform flight line/hangar safety walks.
• Meet with customers and senior leadership as required.
