Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Branch Flightline Supervisor in Maryland to provide senior‑level oversight of aircraft maintenance operations in direct support of the 89th Airlift Wing’s executive airlift mission.

You will oversee 98 flightline personnel and an 18‑person expeditor team, coordinating with MOCC to ensure FMC, reviewing records, and driving training and safety programs to maintain mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Requires FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification.
• Must obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to interpret technical publications and data.
• Must have a flightline driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to flightline personnel.
• Plan and schedule training for maintenance staff.
• Coordinate maintenance with MOCC to ensure FMC.
• Review aircraft records and ensure documentation is current.
• Supervise 98-person flightline and 18-person expeditor team.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and FOD awareness.
• Follow HAZCOM and HAZMAT programs.
• Address QA/CORS findings with corrective actions.
• Ensure 781 forms and CAMS are accurate.
• Assist in parts requisition and repair expedites.
• Manage TDY/travel and multi-shift operations.
