Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager with foundry experience to lead maintenance across our manufacturing facilities. You will manage a team of technicians, oversee preventive maintenance, and drive improvements using AutoCAD to optimize systems and machinery uptime.

The role requires strong engineering knowledge, leadership, and a proven track record in maintaining heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, monitor systems, and resolve issues ensuring maximum efficiency of machines.
• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to perform routine and preventive maintenance of all equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities, ensuring work is completed on time and adheres to high-quality standards.
• Maintain all machinery to ensure it's at working standards, especially prior to critical production times.
• Coordinate with other departments like procurement and engineering to ensure the smooth running of all machinery and equipment.
• Utilize AutoCAD to design and implement improvements to existing systems.
• Monitor the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiate reordering when necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve immediate issues, determine areas of improvement, and plan preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing and managing safety programs to promote a culture of safety on the production floor.
