You will coordinate door-to-door shipments, review drawings and route studies, and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and factory teams to align schedules with commitments. The role requires strong logistics expertise, ability to read engineering documents, and knowledge of DOT permits and international transport.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in heavy haul trucking and rail transportation.
• Knowledge of dimensional rail transportation, railroad clearances, and DOT permits.
• Experience with international transportation is an asset.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and rigging plans.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead oversized rail and heavy-haul transportation projects from proposal through delivery.
• Coordinate door-to-door rail and over-the-road shipments with providers and suppliers.
• Review transportation proposals, drawings, routing studies, and method statements.
• Align transportation plans with manufacturing schedules and customer commitments.
• Coordinate pre-delivery activities with customers, marketing, and project stakeholders.
• Utilize transportation management systems to plan, track, and manage shipments.
• Support international transportation with trade compliance and documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost shipping efficiency and service quality.
