Job summary

Pierce Pacific Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our heavy fabrication shop. You will oversee cutting, machining, welding, assembly and finishing, driving safety, quality, and on-time delivery on a multi-department workflow.

The ideal candidate has deep weld fabrication knowledge and a proven track record of building capable, engaged teams while leveraging ERP/MRP reporting and Lean initiatives to optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a shop floor in heavy fabrication environments.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes and safety practices.
• Experience with ERP/MRP production reporting systems.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S training or certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily shop floor workflows across multiple work centers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain a safe, compliant environment and lead safety initiatives.
• Drive throughput by identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions.
• Coach and develop operators and shift leads for high performance.
