Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily operations in a fast-paced metal fabrication facility in Wisconsin. You will drive production performance, supervise shop personnel, and ensure safety and quality while meeting customer delivery requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of production or shop management experience in metal fabrication, with expertise in laser cutting, fiber laser operations, brake presses, welding, CNC machining, and assembly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Production Management, Manufacturing Management, or Shop Management experience.
• Strong background in metal fabrication manufacturing.
• Experience with laser cutting, fiber laser operations, brake press equipment, welding and fabrication, CNC machining, and assembly operations.
• Experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across the production floor.
• Manage production schedules, workflow, and labor resources.
• Supervise and develop production employees and department leads.
• Drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery performance.
• Coordinate activities between fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly departments.

Job description

Our client is currently seeking a hands on Production Manager to lead daily operations within a fast-paced metal fabrication manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for driving production performance, supervising shop personnel, ensuring quality and safety standards, and meeting customer delivery requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a fabrication floor and a strong understanding of laser cutting, brake press operations, welding, machining, and assembly processes.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across the production floor
• Manage production schedules, workflow, and labor resources
• Supervise and develop production employees and department leads
• Drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery performance
• Coordinate activities between fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly departments
• Monitor production metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule
• Partner with leadership to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability
• Support hiring, training, coaching, and performance management initiatives
