Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing teams in a safe, productive environment. You will plan and facilitate work to meet on-time production schedules, coach teams, and uphold quality and housekeeping standards.

You will develop high‑performance teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure processes align with People First culture. Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1-2 small or similar areas/processes within the production facility/line.
• Lead production team members in a union and/or non-union environment on the manufacturing process and provide daily support in troubleshooting issues.
• Provide performance feedback and appraisals to team members to guide their development.
• Educate and enforce quality, safety, and 5S standards and processes, and recommend changes as opportunities arise on production floor.
• Support maintenance, continuous improvement, and value stream projects that support the business and ensure the production schedule demands are met.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses of manufacturing process to identify, define, and resolve problems and opportunities.
• Create value stream mapping and standard work.
