Herc Rentals is seeking a Mechanic A in Bellevue, WA, to lead fleet maintenance operations and uphold performance standards. You will diagnose engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, perform repairs, and mentor junior mechanics.

You will manage preventative maintenance programs, review work orders, and ensure timely, safe service. Your experience with heavy equipment and tool proficiency will drive quality and efficiency in the branch.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience repairing heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Owns a sufficient selection of hand and air/electric tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all Herc owned fleet.
• Operate and test equipment to meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs independently.
• Diagnose engines, electrical, hydraulics, and fuel systems.
• Enter and review work orders and order parts.
• Assist in training junior mechanics.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Produce detailed service reports and repair logs.
