Job summary

Keolis America, Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to service and maintain transit coaches in a 24/7 environment at multiple locations in Virginia.

You will diagnose, repair, and upgrade electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and document all service activities. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with a technical degree or equivalent experience, ASE/ CDL prerequisites, and the ability to work safely at height and in demanding conditions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Two (2) years technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience with heavy equipment required.
ASE Transit Certification preferred with pursuit of additional certifications.
CDL with Air brake endorsement preferred or obtain within 90 days.
HVAC 609/608 certifications.
Experience with diagnostic computer equipment and software required.
Strong understanding of ADA equipment, brakes, engines, lighting, and safety systems.

Responsibilities

Develop understanding of all systems onboard fleet vehicles.
Perform Oil and Lube Services and Preventative Maintenance inspections.
Complete in-house and road-call repairs using hand, power, pneumatic, and precision tools.
