Job summary

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic, Automotive for the Crown Point shop in Alaska. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing heavy- and light-duty equipment used in road and airport projects across rural locations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machines and tools; repair and maintenance of heavy- and light-duty equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment problems.
• Familiarity with engine, transmission, drive trains, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
