Job summary

Total Civil Construction & Engineering is seeking a driven Project Manager to lead complex heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through completion in the DC/MD/VA region. You will guide project engineers, superintendents, and field teams to deliver on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with multi-million dollar projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction standards and contracts.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and financial management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team (engineers, superintendents, foremen) and develop staff.
• Coordinate with client and vendors; resolve conflicts.
• Manage safety, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual compliance.
• Oversee subcontractor schedules and payments; ensure cash flow.
• Prepare and present project reports; monitor progress and changes.
