Job summary

Superior Construction seeks a detail-oriented Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of heavy civil and highway construction projects. You will coordinate, lead project teams, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, reporting to stakeholders and managing budgets.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills, willingness to travel regionally, and a track record of on-site leadership in complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years of industry tenure.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Significant field-based project execution experience.
• Progressive field-based leadership roles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project execution strategies.
• Manage project performance and provide leadership and support.
• Develop project teams and cultivate talent.
• Monitor project progress, budget status, and timelines; report variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including contracts, permits, change orders, and daily reports.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Assist with cost tracking, billing, and preparation of project invoices.
• Manage planning and scheduling construction activities.
• Foster and maintain a safe work environment.
• Market and promote the Superior Construction brand.

Education
