Job summary

BSD Property is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects from planning through closeout. You will own project performance, working closely with Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and agencies.

This role requires out-in-front problem solving, field visibility, and driving the team toward a common objective, with emphasis on safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of construction project management or project engineering in heavy civil/infrastructure.
• Proven experience with budgets, forecasts, contracts, and schedules.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and contracts; resolve conflicts practically.
• Ownership mindset with proactive problem-solving and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead heavy civil projects from award to closeout, including buyout and procurement.
• Develop and maintain budgets, cost controls, and monthly cost reporting.
• Create and adjust project schedules with field and office teams.
• Prepare change orders, directives, subcontracts, RFIs, and related docs.
• Coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries to stay on schedule.
• Review drawings and specs to resolve conflicts and ensure compliance.
• Lead project meetings with owners, agencies, and teams.
• Develop Project Engineers and maintain office-field communication.
• Oversee quality docs, as-builts, pay estimates, and records.
