Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. seeks a Heavy Civil Project Manager to oversee highway, road, and bridge projects in Virginia. You will lead from planning through closeout on self-performed work, reporting to senior leadership with direct authority over budget, schedule, and quality.

Competitive base salary with bonus and relocation support are offered. The role requires 5–10+ years in heavy civil construction, strong DOT/VDOT knowledge, and proven risk and subcontractor management.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years managing heavy/highway, road, or bridge civil construction projects.
• Strong cost control, schedule, contract, and change-order experience.
• Ability to manage owners, agencies, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the project from plan through closeout and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Lead field supervision and project engineering teams; set roles and responsibilities.
• Submit accurate cost and income projections and manage change orders and documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, agencies, subcontractors, and vendors; run weekly project meetings.
